Open Board Position Nominations

Parents,

We will be accepting nominations for the open positions on the MLFFC Board. Please nominate a member of our community that you think will be a fit for the open positions. Please do not nominate yourself.

 

Below are the open Executive Board positions.

  1. Vice President
    1. This person’s role is largely determined by the duties delegated by the president and as such should be someone who is able to take on delegated tasks and see them through to completion. The vice president also serves the president’s role in the event that person is absent.
  2. Treasurer
    1. This person assumes the responsibility for the financial arm of the organization. Those duties may include:
      1. Signing checks
      2. Dispensing program funds as approved by the board
      3. Providing reports on the status of program funds
      4. Maintaining financial records
      5. Preparing budgets
  3. Sargent of Arms
    1. This person is responsible for the development of coaches within the organization to ensure a better, safer experience for every player. It is important for this person to work with the Board of Directors to establish a minimum threshold of coaching education to ensure every coach has been certified and has been educated on the proper fundamentals. This person should be required to interview new Coaches, host coach training sessions throughout the year and spend time observing the overall quality of coaching throughout the organization.
    2. This person is also responsible for maintaining an organized equipment strategy for the program. Responsibilities may include equipment storing procedures, maintenance and reconditioning plan. Coordinates all matters related to proper equipment fitting and checkout procedures.

 

The following are open Non-Executive Board positions.

 

  1. Fundraising Chair  
    1. This is a non-voting position who reports directly to the treasurer. This person will organize all fundraising events and programs under the direction of the Treasurer and the executive board. They will also manage relations with corporate donors.
  2. Community Affairs/Recruiting Chair
    1. This is a non-voting position who reports directly to the Secretary. This person will organize  recruiting events, publicizing registration and fundraisers and work closely with the secretary on managing the programs social media presence.
  3. League Representative
    1. This is a non-voting position who reports directly to the Secretary. This person will attend league meetings and report back to the Secretary and executive board information obtained at the meetings. Will render voting decisions to the league only with direction from the executive board.
  4. Executive Director of Football Operations
    1. This is a non-voting position who reports directly to the Sargent of Arms. This person will be responsible for:
      1. Organizing the coaching staff for all divisions of the program.
      2. Coaching selections will be made in conjunction with the Executive Board.
      3. Field Maintenance
      4. Assist SOA in organizing equipment distribution and return
  5. Executive Director of Cheer Operations
    1. This is a non-voting position who reports directly to the Sargent of Arms. This person will be responsible for:
      1. Organizing the coaching staff for all divisions of the program.
      2. Coaching selections will be made in conjunction with the Executive Board.
      3. Assist SOA in organizing uniform distribution and ordering
      4. Choreography and design all cheers and dance routines with assistance from the coaches
  6. Executive Director of Program Integrity
    1. This is a non-voting position who reports directly to the president. This person will maintain an organizational plan for player instruction and matriculation between weight classes. This is done with the directive that the program is advancing player knowledge to support a complete understanding of the Lenape playbook.
